Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm - Revitalising (3.38 oz / 100ml)

For fresh, clean skin, Clean It Zero and Revitalizing Balm contains the strongest free radical fighting ingredients. A powerful makeup-melting formula that provides the same invigorating and energizing properties as the original to combat the first signs of aging. The ingredient resvertatrol, found in grapes, is a potent antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties that protect the skin against environmental stressors. With a higher melting point, the cleanser is now even smoother and softer, which means no more summer meltdowns!

This cleansing balm has been formulated without polyethylene, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, alcohol, or artificial coloring. Instead, natural ester oil has replaced mineral oil, skin-friendly vitamin E acetate has replaced butylated hydroxytoluene (which allows the cleanser to be used on all skin types, even kids!). To provide a fresh, rose scent, butyl parahydroxybenzoate has been replaced with phenoxyethanol, an ingredient naturally derived from green tea. Clean It Zero and Revitalizing Balm contains grapeseed oil which is naturally high in linoleic acid but as oily skin has more oleic acid, which makes sebum thicker, providing skin with more linoleic acid helps balance sebum out. This makes the cleansing balm perfect for oily/combination skin.

The pH level of this cleansing balm is 6.2.

After scooping the balm with a spatula, use your fingertips to gently massage the balm using circular motions onto dry skin. This will breakdown all makeup and residue. Massage again after adding water to emulsify the oil then either wipe off with a face cloth or use lukewarm water to rinse well.

With oily/combination skin in mind, Banila Co. developed the Clean It Zero Cleansing Revitalising Balm. As with the cult-classic, the sherbert-textured balm melts into a warm, soothing oil when applied to the skin, but this version is formulated with lightweight grapeseed oil, which both revitalizes your skin and smells subtly of fresh green grapes. In addition to this, Banila Co. also infused the cleansing balm with resveratrol, an antioxidant that helps preserve the skin's surface.
